With the new “RACE RESULT EventTools” app, timers and organizers can now work even more effectively with helpers on site and thus further improve the experience for all participants. The RACE RESULT Bluetooth Reader enables wireless scanning of passive transponders for even smoother operation of the app. EventTools grants team members access to certain tools of the RACE RESULT 12 software, such as check-in kiosks or the results display. A tool for manual timing is also integrated. All data is exchanged directly with the online event file. “Our customers were looking for a way to better organize their team on the day of the event. That's why we are now bringing central tools directly to the helpers' smartphones - without the timer having to give up control of his event file. In this way, every team member can contribute to the success of the event without needing any knowledge of sports timekeeping or certain software," explains RACE RESULT Business Development Manager Elliot Tabraham-Dowers, who played a key role in developing the free app. The RACE RESULT Bluetooth Reader makes the solution even more efficient. It can be used, for example, to create result kiosks where the participant scans their bib and gets results automatically displayed on a large screen. Participants passing by checkpoints can also be detected by the Bluetooth reader. This data is transferred directly to the event file and stored as a backup on the smartphone.
